How do you make your smores?

Ingredients:
- Graham crackers, broken in half
- Milk chocolate candy bar, broken in half
- Marshmallows

Place chocolate bar half on graham cracker half. Carefully toast marshmallows over grill or campfire... Kids, make sure there is an adult to help with this part. Place toasted marshmallow on the chocolate bar, top with another graham cracker half and gently press. Watch as the marshmallow melts the chocolate for a gooey delight!

For making camping smores, instead of using graham crackers I like to use  Keebler Fudge Stripes...you can also skip on using the chocolate since the cookie already has some!   Wink

They sound great - I've never actually had them but I have toasted marshmallows over a fire.

It sounds like there are quite a few variations of this classic snack. I'd love to try them.

mmmmm smores  Smiley

I do like Jesse.    I have the big camping forks (mine came from Walmart) they are about 3' long.  What makes them perfect is they hold two marshmellows and the prongs are perfectly spaced so that after you roast your marshmellows you can put them on two graham crackers that are sitting right next to each other.   PERFECT and very little mess.

Please do not burn your marshmellows.  I like to put mine just by the heat and let them plump.  It takes a little longer but they are oh so good.

BTW, I am new to the site and still looking around.  Looks like a fun place with lots of info  Smiley

What a great idea!  I never would have thought of that!

We tried these on our trip this past weekend.  Worked great.  The cookies I got we a little large for us so we just cut them in half and put the marsh mellow in the middle.  ... we had a few of them!  ha ha

Sometimes I use nutella instead of a chocolate bar. Works a little easier and then we have it for our toast also.
