How many parks do you have in your area? do they have discounts or promos?

In our area, you can have a discount on the admission fee if you live in the same area, and you can show some ID with an address indicating that you reside near the park.
But if you don't have any proofs, you will pay the regular price.

some times, senior citizen are free to enter the parks, or sometimes they also give discount.

do you have this in your area also. let's keep the ball rolling

I think it's very similar here - You'd definitely need the proof that you paid the admission price. I wonder if that would be verifiable online? In that case I guess you'd still need acceptable ID.

I'd think that seniors also receive a discount on admission. By the way, I wonder how many seniors go camping overnight?  Wink

I think that's something they may like to do if they've enjoyed it in the past, but I wonder if it's something that someone would take up for the first time in their later years?

Depends on what you call a senior I guess! ha ha.  We have met lots of "older" people while camping and had a great time with them.

your just a puppy compared to me buddy!  Wink

We have the state park pass and it saves you the entrance per person fee.  I get my money's worth on Thanksgiving weekend alone.  I wish I could get the senior discount!

I just purchased the Texas Park Pass last week at Garner State Park...I should have done it a long time ago, I've been to Garner 5 times this year, the Texas Park Pass would have paid for itself already...  Undecided  but oh well, I guess it's never too late.  I plan to renew every year.  Smiley

Hello everyone.  New to this sight, thanks to camper1.  I see a couple others that I know from another MB.

We've been a camping family for many years, and live close to Guadalupe St. Park, Canyon Lake, Guadalupe River, etc.

Looking forward to sharing and learning on this site.

Thanx!
