Ft. Parker is a small shaded park located, 7 miles south of Mexia ( ok, 95 miles south and a little west of Dallas.)
Fort Parker offers camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, birdwatching, hiking, biking, canoeing, and some quiet times

Nearby is Old Ft. Parker a nice part of a day visit. We were here in the spring so the flowers were out.

Enjoy a short view of a nice small park
